Before Brandon hopped in the program he owned a trucking company that went out of business. From there he decided to restart his agency. As a busy dad with 3 kids and a packed schedule, being in business for himself was essential. In the past weeks before this interview, Brandon has closed 5 clients + one $65,00 deal pending because the service is so good and so needed even during these unprecedented times. [00:00:00] Hi, everybody. Robb Bailey here. And, uh, today we’ve got a special guest. His name is Brandon packer, Brandon. What’s up, man. How are you? I am doing fantastic. Awesome. Well, I just wanted to have you on today and thank you for taking time out of your busy schedule. I know you’re a busy guy, um, to just share a little bit about what you’ve been posting in our group.

[00:00:18] You’ve had some good success. Um, and just hear a bit about your story. I know a lot of other people in the group have been asking about it too, so I just wanted to quickly get you on here and see what’s going on, man. Yeah. Um, Alyssa, a little about me. Tell us why don’t you start off by telling us what you were up to before you hopped in the program.

[00:00:38] Yeah, sure. Um, so I actually owned a trucking company. Believe it or not the partner that went out of business in November. And, um, I started my agency before that, but then veered off to focus on that. Cause we invested a lot of money into it and, um, took a lot of lessons away, but worst decision imaginable.

[00:00:56] And I saw the writing on the wall at about October. And so I was like, I need to restart my agency. And so, um, I started going to be an, I started like prospecting on social media and, um, I, I had already, I can’t remember I had bought your course at that point if I already had it, but. I dove into the stuff and decided, you know, I’m going to start using your prospecting methods and started reaching out to people on, on messenger.

[00:01:21] And the whole dr. Thing was a game changer because people are so jaded on Facebook ads and all that stuff that, uh, when you’d come up, when you come up saying, you know, you can do some without ad spend. It just, it changed everything. Um, and I’m a single dad. I have three kids full custody. So I mean, it’s a very busy freaking schedule.

[00:01:40] And so. Um, that’s the big reason I have been trying so hard to be in business for myself so I can just be home with my kids. And, um, that’s kind of where I was before. You know, I had, I think at the time I still had one client. From when I had previously focused on my agency, but that quarter was the best quarter I had had ever in my agency.

[00:01:59] And it was a

[00:02:00] direct result of nurturing, close stuff. Like, I mean, it, it, all I did was follow the course, man. I follow the scripts, you know, the, even before the sale, the new sales module, I just followed that, um, your simple sales script and people are just like, well, yeah, of course. Let’s. Let’s roll. So yeah, there’s nothing really to lose for them.

[00:02:18] So yeah, I didn’t even offer a guarantee either. I just kind of, it just made too much sense. It was a no brainer for, so. That’s great, man. Um, and yeah, that’s what we preach over there is just follow the, the script, follow the instructions. Step-by-step um, people who tried to get creative with that tend to fail because it’s unproven.

[00:02:36] That’s the simple fact of it. Um, most people by far. You know, most of the people try that. Um, but our stuff is everything we have in there is proven. So if you try, it just got a very high success of, you know, hitting a home run on the first try. So I many to comment on that. Yeah, of course. The whole idea of like, just following everything and having it be proven.

[00:02:55] I, so I used to do the whole model of, um, intro call to qualify, then book a demo. I never liked that model because I always felt like something could be done in one call close. I’ve been in sales a while. And, um, I was like, man, it’d be so nice to do that. And then, uh, I hadn’t don’t I didn’t dive into your sales module, the new one until like two or three weeks ago.

[00:03:15] And I didn’t even watch the video. I was just about to help, um, one of the guys in your inner group closing deal, and I was like, I’m going to test out the script. And so I downloaded the sales script. Granted I have a sales background, so I was able to, I was familiar with scripting, but I just picked the script and read it verbatim and we closed the deal like it.

[00:03:32] And then we closed another one and then we closed a third one and it was just the one call close script. Like literally I read it verbatim. That was all. I did love it. Yeah. That was it. Yeah. Love it, man. Okay, cool. So why don’t we quickly dive to a few specifics if you don’t mind. Sure. So when did you really get active with the program and like how many clients did you close?

[00:03:53] What niche were you in? If you don’t mind sharing how much they paid you like details like that, if you don’t mind. Yeah, sure. So, um,

[00:04:00] I probably started diving into your information. Um, it was last quarter of last year, so probably September. September-ish um, and you know what I think I did have your course ahead of time.

[00:04:11] I was like, okay, I need to finish, um, watching some of this stuff. And so, um, when I decided I needed to start getting back into it and I saw my other business failing, I, uh, started, I got actually invited back to a BNI group that I completely forgot about. So, so one of the first clients I reached out to was, uh, from BNI, it was an insurance agent and, um, I met with her.

[00:04:35] I went through the script, you know, she ended up becoming a client. Um, she, the math logic equated about 600 bucks. So that’s all I charged with 600 bucks. And, um, she’s like, Hey, you know, when you come out to be an item Morrow and I had completely forgotten because I was sober down on BNI, I was like, forget this.

[00:04:52] But, um, I went and once everybody saw what I was doing now, cause before it was like Facebook as lead gen, but now it’s like I do three things, you know, a point or a lead gen nurturing and appointment setting. And then all of a sudden it was, I’m not doing anything much different, but all of a sudden I was like, Oh my gosh, what are you doing?

[00:05:10] And so very quickly, um, insurance real estate. And mortgage where the L and the gym from cold prospecting through Facebook messenger using your scripting. So I was kind of all over the map. Okay. And then fast forward to like Mo more recently what’s been going on on that front. Yeah. So I still have a lot of those clients.

[00:05:32] Um, so I have two mortgage clients, the insurance client, um, I have, uh, I have four, I have a person or a physical therapist, basically. I’m still on a lot of niches, but I did decide to niche in mortgage. Um, cause that’s where I’ve crushed it and mortgage and an insurance. And, um, My results in mortgage had been too insane to ignore.

[00:05:54] So that’s why I decided to focus on that niche. So, um, I hired my [00:06:00] sister a while back to handle appointments setting and organic prospecting, and we’re starting to pick up momentum from that. So we’re only targeting mortgage and, uh, all organic and, um, My calendar. Like if you saw my calendar the last two weeks, I have like no spare time.

[00:06:14] Amazing dude. Good job. All right. So you, and this is during COVID, by the way, you’ve closed. How many clients in the past two, three months. Yeah. There’s no reason to not be still doing business right now. Right? So, so how many clients have you closed? Like in the past, say two, three months. Um, so. I actually just focused on the last couple of weeks.

[00:06:37] Cause that’s when I, I, cause at first I was kind of coasting on the clients I’ve already had. And, and then, um, I was like, you know what? I really got to get my prospecting in. So we started working on the organic prospecting three weeks ago and um, and between the clients that I’ve closed and also some, uh, a gentlemen in the group I’ve helped him close three.

[00:06:56] I’ve helped him close three in the last two weeks. And then for myself, um, Two. So you figure, what is that? Three, four, maybe five new clients or five clients closed in, I don’t know, four weeks. Geez, man. That’s amazing. And we’re supposed to be in some sort of a crisis right now. So, I mean, that just goes to show you there’s people out there who want help, you know, and granted we are in a crisis.

[00:07:20] I’m not minimizing that, but you know, we’re still doing business. We’re still making sales. You’re still making sales. Like there’s people out there who need help. There’s people out there that need a database reactivation. There’s people were dying to have custom customers of any sort or clients of any sort right now.

[00:07:34] So that’s awesome, man. Good on you for pushing through and staying diligent. That’s incredible and really cool for you to help somebody else too, in the group. That’s amazing. Oh, when people, Oh, sorry, go ahead. No, no please. No, I was just going to say, because people really do want to spend money. Like I’ve got a deal pending right now.

[00:07:50] That’s 6,500 bucks up front. Um, nothing’s done till it’s done, but like people are, are seriously like out there spending money right now. But, yeah,

[00:08:00] it’s just, that’s what we’re seeing too. Um, there was a bit of a like giant hesitation and now people are starting to open back up for sure. So, um, awesome man.

[00:08:09] Well, again, I, I didn’t know that you had three kids and you’re a single dad, so I especially want to respect your time, but, um, I think that’s amazing by the way, I’ve got three kids and I’ve. Thank God I have my wife’s help. Um, but yeah, every little bit helps. Right. Um, but, but what would you say to somebody who’s sort of on the fence about either joining our program or implementing what’s in our program after they joined?

[00:08:31] Cause there’s a lot of people who’ve signed up and they just think that there’s no business being done right now. Right? Like what would you say to someone like that, man? I would say dive in, consume all of it. Um, I am, I had shiny object syndrome for a long time and I, I bought so many courses and I’ve, uh, I’ve always only watched like a portion of it and, you know, took a little bits here and there.

[00:08:52] Um, the nurturing close stuff is honestly, what’s changed the game for me. Um, you know, I’m in, I’m in some higher level groups too, and this one has had probably the largest impact on, uh, everything I’m doing. I mean, literally the approach changes everything. And so if someone’s on the fence, just fricking dive in, man, start watching everything and don’t deviate, like just follow.

[00:09:17] What’s it’s funny when I hop on some calls to help people out. I’m like, dude, I’m just doing what’s in the course, like just follow, follow what’s in the course. So that’s what I would say. Just get in and follow it. Awesome man. Well, dude, I really appreciate your time. Um, I’ll let you go now. Is it cool if we share this with everybody in the group?
